Rudolf Rechsteiner received a PhD in economics from the University of Basel in 1986. He was a member of the Swiss National council (1995-2010), where he was member of the environment, spatial planning and energy committee, as well as the social security and health committee. He was also a member of the Parliament of Basel-Stadt between 1988 and 1999 and between 2012 and 2017. Moreover, he was chairman of Swissaid until June 2020.
He is currently an independent consultant and member of the boards of Industrielle Werke Basel and Pensionskasse Basel-Stadt. Rudolf Rechsteiner is the author of several books in the fields of pension funds and renewable energies.

Appointed by the Caisse Paritaire de Prévoyance de l'Industrie et de la Construction (CPPIC)Aldo Ferrari (1962) was appointed to Ethos’ foundation board in 2016 as representative of the Geneva Industry and Construction Sectors’ Pension Fund (CPPIC), one of the two founding pension funds of Ethos. He is vice-chairman of the foundation board since June 2018.
Aldo Ferrari is a Swiss certified social insurance specialist. From 1996 to 2004, he was trade union secretary and regional head of the canton of Vaud at the Industry & Construction trade union and, from 2005 to 2010, he was regional head of the canton of Vaud at Unia. He was also a member of the Swiss federal supervisory commission of pension funds. From 2011, Aldo Ferrari was member and, from 2012 to 2021, vice-chairman of the executive board of the Unia trade union.
Aldo Ferrari is currently co-responsible for the trade sector of the Unia trade union. He is also chairman of the foundation board of the CIEPP pension fund (Caisse Inter-Entreprises de prévoyance professionnelle) and of the RESOR foundation. Furthermore, Aldo Ferrari is vice-chairman of the foundation board of the Proparis foundation, of the Fondation de Prévoyance de la Métallurgie du Bâtiment Genève, of the Fondation de la Métallurgie Vaudoise du Bâtiment, of the Unia’s pension fund and, since December 2021, of the CPPIC and of the Spida pension fund. He is also member of the foundation board of the swissstaffing foundation and of the board of directors of Spida Social Insurance.

Marc Chesney holds a PhD in finance of the University of Geneva. He is professor of Mathematical Finance at the University of Zurich since 2003. Marc Chesney is also founder and director of the Center of competence for sustainable finance of the University of Zurich, which was launched in January 2020. Furthermore he is president of the AREF (association for the renewal of research and teaching of economics and finance).
Marc Chesney wrote a large number of articles and books on the topics of derivatives and the excesses of finance.

CloseCornelia Diethelm (1972) is an independent member of the board of Ethos Foundation since June 2020. She is a member of the board of directors of Ethos Services SA since 2019 and representative of the main shareholder Ethos Foundation since June 2020.
Cornelia Diethelm holds a Master’s degree in Political and Social Sciences and Economics as well as a Master of advanced studies (MAS) in Digital Business and Corporate Communications Management. She held different positions in the communication and project management area, mainly as deputy general secretary for the construction, transportation and energy department for the canton of Bern, as well as consultant for Jäggi Communications (now known as Burson-Marsteller). From 2007 to 2018, she worked for the Federation of Migros Cooperatives, first as head of Issue Management, then, from 2010 to 2018, as head of Sustainability and Issue Management for the Migros group.
Cornelia Diethelm is owner and CEO of Shifting Society AG, co-owner of Datenschutzpartner AG and founder of the Centre for Digital Responsibility (CDR). She is also head of studies and lecturer at the Zurich School of Business Administration (Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich). Cornelia Diethelm is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Association for Corporate Data Protection (Verein Unternehmens-Datenschutz VUD) and a jury member of the «Green Business Award». Since June 2021 she is furthermore vice-chairwoman of the board of directors of Metron AG and since June 2022 member of the board of directors of Sparkasse Schwyz.

Jacques Folly is currently the attaché of the Office for economic development, research and innovation of the Canton of Geneva. Furthermore, he is a staff representative member of the CPEG’s board and vice-chairman of its audit and organisation committee. He also chairs the Union des cadres supérieurs de l'administration cantonale genevoise.

Laura Sadis holds a master’s degree in economics of the University of Zurich and a diploma as a tax expert. She was deputy director of PricewaterhouseCoopers SA in Lugano between 1990 and 2001 and then member of the executive board of the Gotthard-Bank. Between 2004 et 2007, she was member of the Swiss National Council and, between 2007 and 2015, councilor of the Canton of Ticino and head of the Department of finance and economy. Furthermore, she was member of the council of the Swiss National Bank between 2007 and 2015.
Laura Sadis is member of the foundation board of the Internationale Stiftung Preis E. Balzan-Fonds and of the Fondazione Internazionale Premio Balzan as well as member of the board of directors of AlpTransit Gotthard AG and of the Schweizerische Mobiliar. She is also member of the committee of Pro Infirmis, the International Committee of the Red Cross and vice-chairwoman of the association SOS Ticino.

Anne Troillet graduated in law at the University of Geneva, was admitted to the Geneva bar and specialised in labour law. She worked as a lawyer in several law firms before founding Troillet Meier Raetzo, a law firm in Geneva specialising in labour law, occupational benefit planning law, private insurance and social insurance law.
Anne Troillet is also a member of the Audit Committee of the University of Geneva.

Beth Krasna holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from ETH Zurich and a MBA from Sloan School (MIT)in Cambridge, USA. She spent ten years in the field of venture capital, three years in consulting, then ten years in corporate restructuring as board member of Valtronic in Les Charbonnières (from 1992 to 1996) and Symalit in Lenzburg, before becoming CEO of Sécheron in Geneva from 1998 to 2000. From 2001 to 2003, she was CEO of Albert-Inc. in Lausanne. Since 2004, she has been an independent board member. She was a member of the boards of SBB (1999 to 2003), Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (2002 to 2014), Coop (2005 to 2019) and of the Council of the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology (2003 to 2020).
Beth Krasna is currently vice-chairwoman of Symbiotics, a microfinance company, chairwoman of the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies Foundation and member of the council of the «Università della Svizzera italiana».

Chairman of the Audit and Risk CommitteePhilippe Doffey (1960) is a member of Ethos Services’ board since 2012 as a representative of Retraites Populaires (Lausanne) and vice-chairman of the board since 2017.
Philippe Doffey has a degree in business and administration of the University of Lausanne (HEC) and an MBA from Western Washington University in the United States. He held various positions in project management, consulting and sales in the information technology industry, before joining Retraites Populaires in 1998. There he held different executive positions, particularly as head of marketing and consulting, before being appointed CEO in 2013. Furthermore, Philippe Doffey was chairman of Economie Région Lausanne from 2012 to 2016. In 2016 he also obtained the administrator certification of the Académie des Administrateurs (ACAD).
Philippe Doffey is member of the foundation board of the pension fund ECA-RP, treasurer of the Toms Pauli Foundation and vice-chairman of the board of the Genilem association.

Dominique Becht received a PhD in economics from the University of Basel. Since 1993, he held different positions in the asset management area and was mainly head of portfolio management for institutional clients at UBS Global Asset Management in Singapour, as well as responsible for investment funds in Asia. Then he occupied the position of CIO Asia Equities at ADIA in Abu Dhabi until 2006.
Dominique Becht is head of the asset management department of the Abendrot foundation and independant entrepreneur in the food industry (Solomania GmbH). He is a member of the board of directors of the d'EBL Wind AG and, since June 2020, member of the board of Swiss Sustainable Finance.

Nicole Beiner holds a master’s degree in economics and finance and a PhD in economics. Since twenty-five years, she has been working in the area of risk management and risk controlling of financial institutions on behalf of several banks, securities traders and asset managers. She was in particular in charge of the risk analysis unit (Risk Manager) for the Lombard Odier group from 2004 to 2008.
Nicole Beiner is is owner and CEO of Beiner Conseil d’entreprises SA . She is also Senior Advisor of the Training center for investment professionals (AZEK). Furthermore, Nicole Beiner is a member of the examination commission of the Swiss Financial Analysts Association (SFAA). She is also vice-chairwoman of the board of directors of the Rentes Genevoises, chairwoman of the board of directors of the Swiss securities firm Fidurhône SA and member of the board of directors of the company Suisse Estate Group (SEG).
